Living is hard, but dying is easy.

I’ve never let a challenge beat me.

Stepping away from the person I used to be.

Find the new that was always hiding in me.

If you ask me how I’m doing, I would say I’m doing just fine…

I would lie…

I went blonde. Oh yes. Not photoshopped. I’m a little scared.

This is Boo and Devon’s first puppy together. Sounds like our landlord is going to buy him (yay for getting rent paid [hopefully]). He is cute, snuggly, and adoooorable. Yep. We call him “Derp”.

I drew a picture of the Cheshire Cat from the game “Alice: Madness Returns”. A very, very excellent spin on my favourite childhood tale. It’s taken a dark twist that I, as a [slightly less mature than some, more mature than others] adult can truly appreciate. If you haven’t played this game, I highly recommend it.
The first time I played it was on the PS3, but after [not at all illegally] downloading the game for my PC, I have to say——THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION FOR THIS GAME ASIDE FROM THE PC VERSION. Our system supports a EVGA 560 TI gaming card, so maybe that’s why it looks so spectacular… but honestly, the graphics, the intensity of the detail… it’s a beautifully formed game with a constantly advancing plot.
This would have been my favourite game… but Skyrim made me take an arrow to the knee. ;-D

Anonymous asked: why are you so great :)

Well I wasn’t aware that I was great, actually. Why do you think I’m great? And who are you? ^_^

I Guess This Is Growing Up

“It’s alright to tell me what you think about me.
I won’t try to argue, or hold it against you.
I know that you’re leaving. You must have your
reasons. The season is calling and your pictures
are falling down.”

I was driving to Sacramento today on the 80, windows down, trying to make a good impression at a job fair. Music, wind in my face, and the sunshine got me thinking: I’m twenty years old. It may not seem like a lot, but when I was ten years old, I had a feeling I’d die before I reached eighteen.

So much has happened.

So much has changed.

Long gone are the days when my biggest worry was what flavor KoolAid to stir up to drink with my mac-n-cheese for lunch. Now I’m running around trying to find a low-end job just to make ends meet so I don’t get evicted. The small moments when I’m carefree seem few and far between these days and I find myself reflecting more and more… on times that I miss and long to return to.

And yet…

I’m at a point in my life where, though strained, keeps me very happy. I found a best friend who I plan to stay with for the rest of my life. I’m living in the most beautiful place I’ve been to thus far. I’m healthy… I’m poor. But I’m rich in other ways.

I have hopes for the future and the present, excited to see what life throws my way. And yet a part of me will always long to be sixteen again, tearing up the highway with windows down, radio blaring, wayfarers on, not a care in the world.

I guess this is growing up.

PINTEREST!

WHY DO YOU CLAIM A MAJORITY OF MY TIME??

What’s that, you say? I’m unemployed? Oh.

And your baking/cooking recipe knowledge-ness far outstrips my own? Oh.

And you’re a big collaboration of happy goodies that give me stuff to do in my massive amounts of free-time? You don’t say…

Okay. Seriously. I need to get out more.

Oh well. ^_^
